I am sorry that we did not get to enjoy each others company while you were here. Another testament to always live in the present and possibility of the future. The house doesn't define who we are. Goodbyes are always hard..,but what i have learned in my short lifetime is that without the goodbyes we can't move on to make more wonderful memories and friends! we have to let things go for the new things to fit into our hands. thank you for sharing your heart! it made me tear up ;-) i miss you! What a beautiful legacy you have left for the family who will enjoy what was once your home. If it's true that home is where the heart is then you will soon be shaping where you are now in the way that you shaped the home you so lovingly built. The Lord clearly wants you where you are now, there is eternal purpose in this change of location. Be comforted by the fact that <i>matter has memory</i> and know that with the Lord you can create something even more beautiful where you are now. I wept as I read your heart here, as I too have experienced great, unexpected (oft misunderstood) loss in the last five years, despite all my best efforts, including two much-loved homes, one designed and built from scratch with love... scriptures in the walls and dreams poured into every inch ~ all came crashing down devastatingly. I am so thankful for God's understanding which no one can fathom, that He knows and cares deeply and is WITH US n the process of saying goodbye. He knows that only by grieving the magnitude of what is no longer will we be fully free to enjoy that which IS and WILL BE ~ exceedingly, abundantly beyond what we could ever ask or imagine. Your heart is in tune with that of our loving Heavenly Father who will never leave nor forsake us and it brings great HOPE for the promise unimagined beauty rising from the ashes.
