Wonderful post! Thank you so much for sharing!

How we deal with our losses, how we grieve, how we let our kids see our fragile side as we drop into the Master's hands, how we let our kids see our courage in Him as He lifts us up, helps mold them into the mighty warriors they are also called to be.

Blessings to you and yours as you continue the Journey...

Carrie, my dear,
when one door closes, one always opens. I think that this is gods way for us as humanity to come together and support each other. Your house is beautiful, and I am sure misses you as I do as your neighbor. I am sorry that we did not get to enjoy each others company while you were here. Another testament to always live in the present and possibility of the future. The house doesn't define who we are. We can't take it with us when we are called to be with god one day.

Blessings to you...
Becky

Carrie, i can feel your heart in this story! it was beautifully written! Goodbyes are always hard..,but what i have learned in my short lifetime is that without the goodbyes we can't move on to make more wonderful memories and friends! we have to let things go for the new things to fit into our hands.

thank you for sharing your heart! it made me tear up ;-)
i miss you!

Dear Carrie,
What an amazingly poignant piece of verse! It brought tears to my eyes and a lump in my throat. The power and love of God is manifest in your life, even throughout a tremendous trial and loss. That, my dear is true integrity and genuine walking out of your faith! Bless you, bless you!

Thank you all so much for your kind words and encouragement. I admit this was not an easy blog to post, but I am glad I did. It has brought much healing to my spirit.

Thank you for sharing Carrie, I'm sure many will be helped by your vulnerability.

I am walking through my own dark night of the soul and it is only as I allow myself to pour out my grief that I begin to revive.

What a beautiful legacy you have left for the family who will enjoy what was once your home. If it's true that home is where the heart is then you will soon be shaping where you are now in the way that you shaped the home you so lovingly built.

The Lord clearly wants you where you are now, there is eternal purpose in this change of location.

Be comforted by the fact that matter has memory and know that with the Lord you can create something even more beautiful where you are now.

Blessings on you and yours

Mrs. Stone...Well done indeed! One of your best works. Its amazing what can flow when we allow ourselves to be completely real. When all's been stripped away, that is what we are left with...our real selves. The Real you is beautiful and what you have to share with this world is empowering. You are indeed a World Changer for these times. Your nakedness, clothed in His righteousness is astounding.
Blessings to you dear friend.

Thank you for your great courage and vulnerability in sharing this, Carrie! I am so very sorry for your family's very real and painful loss and thankful for the enduring love of God that remains. I wept as I read your heart here, as I too have experienced great, unexpected (oft misunderstood) loss in the last five years, despite all my best efforts, including two much-loved homes, one designed and built from scratch with love... scriptures in the walls and dreams poured into every inch ~ all came crashing down devastatingly. I am so thankful for God's understanding which no one can fathom, that He knows and cares deeply and is WITH US n the process of saying goodbye. He knows that only by grieving the magnitude of what is no longer will we be fully free to enjoy that which IS and WILL BE ~ exceedingly, abundantly beyond what we could ever ask or imagine. Your heart is in tune with that of our loving Heavenly Father who will never leave nor forsake us and it brings great HOPE for the promise unimagined beauty rising from the ashes. May His love and comfort be your family's portion during these tender days ~ thank you for setting a beautiful example of a heart purely yielded to the Lord's great love and faithful care ~ :.
