Meet Carrie
I feel so honored that you have taken the time to get to know me. It is my prayer that as you read about me, it will not be Carrie C. Stone whom you find, but instead, you will find a woman who loves Jesus Christ and seeks to serve Him all the days of her life. I pray daily that in my life, love and actions, He will be glorified.
I am a Christian first and foremost. I am a wife to Rod, a mother to Newell and Olivia, a daughter, a sister, a friend, an entrepreneur, a motivator and a philanthropist. “I am a mighty warrior of the Most High God put here to help others accomplish their destiny.” This is my battle cry which spurs me on to do the will of my Father in Heaven.
I have a heart for the marketplace and for raising up leaders, exhorting people to greatness and bringing balance to the lives of those who are shaping our future generations. As I coach, speak, train and write, I focus on integrity, loving and leading from a good moral foundation, and living your God given purpose with purpose and on purpose.
I first developed a love for leadership and self-improvement after reading How Positive Thinkers Get Powerful Results by Norman Vincent Peale when I was 18 years old. This led me to aggressively pursue a lifelong journey of research in self-development. I have used the information and experience that I have obtained over the last 20+ years to teach others how to reach their ultimate potential in fulfilling their destinies. In my quest for greatness and self-improvement, I discovered something quite humbling. Although I can do all things through Christ Who gives me strength, I can do nothing great apart from Him. That realization turned my search away from the ways of the world as I learned to dig for truth where great riches could be easily found – in the Word of God. I carry those riches with me wherever I go, and whether I am coaching one-on-one or speaking to an audience of thousands, I bring piercing honesty and life changing concepts into my messages with a combination of hope, humor and inspiration.
As I step out in boldness for the Gospel, I feel I can relate mostly with Paul as he wrote:
“When I came to you, brothers, I did not come with eloquence or superior wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony of God. For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on men’s wisdom, but on God’s power.” I Cor. 2:1-5
That is my heart, from the pen of Paul. May it be the cry of your heart too.
